On October 5, Hallie Levin participated in the Office of the Appellate Defender's 23rd Annual First Monday in October Mock Supreme Court Argument & Gala as a Justice of the Mock Supreme Court. The Court considered a hypothetical case based on the recent Apple/FBI litigation over whether the government can compel Apple to unlock iPhones seized pursuant to valid search warrants, but which are securely password-protected. The Hon. Jonathan Lippman of Latham & Watkins acted as Chief Justice. More
