Friedman Kaplan Associates Help Author NYCLA Report on New York Court of Appeals Chief Judge Candidates
Litigation associates Scott H. Henney and Alexandra G. Elenowitz-Hess helped author a recent report issued by the Appellate Courts Committee of the New York County Lawyers Association (NYCLA). The report provides non-partisan, objective information about each of the seven candidates in consideration to be nominated by New York Governor Kathy Hochul to fill the Chief Judge vacancy on the New York Court of Appeals. The Committee’s report aims to help New York State bar members and other interested readers get to know the candidates and make their own assessments about their relative qualifications to preside as Chief Judge of New York’s highest level state court.
Both Scott and Alex are members of NYCLA’s Appellate Courts Committee, with Scott serving as Vice-Chair.
