Kate Pringle Honored by the Westchester County Board of Legislators
As part of its celebration of Women’s History Month, New York’s Westchester County Board of Legislators honored Friedman Kaplan litigation partner Katherine L. Pringle for her leadership and volunteer efforts for Bread for the World, a nonprofit organization that advocates for policy changes to end hunger locally and globally. Kate served on the board of Bread for the World for nine years, including three years as its Chair.
Kate was also recognized for her dedicated community service in Pelham, NY, particularly for her board service with Huguenot Memorial Church and the Pelham Art Center, as well as her participation in numerous local events and programs, such as the Huguenot Hoops kids’ basketball program and the Hope Community Kitchen food drive.
Majority Whip Terry Clements (D-New Rochelle, Pelham, Pelham Manor) presented the honor to Kate, commenting that “Kate Pringle is an invaluable member of our community and a fitting honoree for our Women’s History Month celebration. Her achievements speak for themselves, and her community service exemplifies the strength and resilience we are celebrating all month. A leader through temperament and example, we are proud to honor her tonight.”
