Three Friedman Kaplan Attorneys Join LCLD’s 2024 Fellows and Pathfinder Programs
Friedman Kaplan is proud to announce that litigation counsel Geoffrey Cajigas has been selected to the 2024 Leadership Council (LCLD) on Legal Diversity Fellows program and that litigation associates Lance Bowman and Carolyn Young will join LCLD’s 2024 Pathfinder program. LCLD is an organization of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. LCLD’s programs are designed to attract, inspire, and nurture talent to help a new and more diverse generation of attorneys ascend to positions of leadership.
The Fellows program is LCLD’s landmark year-long professional development program focused on leadership training and relationship building for a diverse group of talented mid-career attorneys from member law firms and corporations. “Since its inception more than two decades ago, the LCLD Fellows program has produced some of the most prominent leaders in our industry and it is gratifying to see another outstanding class this year,” remarked LCLD President Robert J. Grey, Jr. Geoff is Friedman Kaplan’s fourth attorney to join the Fellows program, with Priyanka Wityk, Elizabeth Bierut, and Sofie Syed participating in previous years.
The Pathfinder program, in which Lance and Carolyn will participate, is a multifaceted program providing participants with the opportunity to learn from top leaders in the legal profession as well as career development experts. Over the course of seven months, the Pathfinder program trains high-performing attorneys who are early in their careers on foundational leadership and relationship-building skills.
“Congratulations to Geoff on his selection to the 2024 class of Fellows and to Lance and Carolyn on their selections to the 2024 Pathfinder class. We are proud to support them in participating in LCLD’s fantastic professional development programs,” said Friedman Kaplan Management Committee member and LCLD member Mala Ahuja Harker.
